Why VenereConnect™ (VC)?
- Reduce manual labor: VC's automation eliminates the need to manually re-enter bookings into your system and does away with manually managing the Extranet.
- Obtain greater control over your product offering: VC allows you to manage your rates and room availability from the same system with which you revenue manage your hotel, making Expedia easier to work with.
- Enhance your product offering: Automation allows for the distribution of additional room types and rate plans without any additional work on your part.
- And finally, save time: automating daily tasks allows you to focus on revenue management and on promoting your hotel.
Venere Migration
Starting from November 2012, the users of the Venere platform H-start will migrate to the Expedia platform Expedia Partner Central. In light of this, Venere Connect (VC) will be decommissioned by Q2 2013 and all connected hotels migrated to Expedia Quick Connect (EQC).
Until then, hotels can be connected using VenereConnect every Wednesday. Alternatively, any hotel wishing to connect will need to wait until they have migrated to Expedia Partner Central and then connect using Expedia QuickConnect.
We are working with vendors to ensure a smooth and problem-free migration. New vendors are advised to only develop EQC.
