Q: Why connect using VenereConnect™?
A: Our solutions makes Venere easier to work with by automating the entire booking process and replacing the manual management of the HStart extranet with an electronic solution.
Q: What are the criteria for my hotel to be connected with VenereConnect™?
A: First, your hotel needs to be part of the Expedia Easy Manage Program. Should you already have an Expedia Easy Manage commercial agreement with Expedia; simply contact your system provider for the VenereConnect™ Interface or visit the System Provider Page.

You can have an Easy Manager agreement and use the HStart extranet. The VenereConnect™ is not mandatory.
Q: What are the costs associated with VenereConnect™?
A: Expedia does not charge any fees to our hotel partners or their developers coding for the VenereConnect™ interface. Please contact your system provider for any fees or charges that may be associated with VenereConnect™.
Q: Is the VenereConnect™ interface secure?
A: Yes. Communication is conducted over the open Internet, through a secure channel (HTTPS).
Q: Does my commercial agreement change with Venere if I connect through VenereConnect™?
A: No it does not. Due to extensive market fencing all Expedia Commercial agreements are respected with the VenereConnect™ solution in place. For further information about the market fencing rules and your commercial agreements, please reach out to your Property Assistant Coordinator.
Q: How does the VenereConnect™ support process work?
A: If you are experiencing issues with VenereConnect™, contact your system provider, they are your first line of support for technical issues.
